'Remote Control (Parts 1, 2, 3 & 4)', by oona Eiren & sayzee Ishtari is the first ever 3 part Machinima submitted to the MachinimUWA challenge series. This machinima features Remote Control, Hop Scotch & Do Bears Shit in the Woods, artworks that had been submitted to the UWA 3D Open Art Challenge. This machinima is now part of MachinimUWA IV: Art of the Artists, which unites the powerhouses of virtual worlds, Artists and Machinimatographers!

Entries to the L$300,000 MachinimUWA IV close on the 10th of November and looks for the creation of machinima featuring artworks that are part of the UWA 3D Open Art Challenge.

In Oona's words:

"Our series of  machinima's uses reassembles three works Remote Control, Hop-Scotch and 'Do bears shit in the woods ? as a starting point. These were submitted to the UWA 3d art and design challenge.  Rather than just record them as single art objects we wanted to intergrate them with other reassemble installations into a multi-layered film piece.

We decided to dispense with narrative and instead rely on improvisation through image, movement and sound.  These works are constructed on the fly with no script or pre-planned notion as to where the improv will lead us. Nearly all  the building of sets  props and sound design is done by us , in some scenes where this is not the case we have credited the artist.

In RL reassemble are the collaborative work of Sheena Vallely and John Say."
